In the fall of 1998, Bill Herrmann's, Mike West's, and Bill "Bearcrazy" Wiesner's passion for the outdoors sparked the creation of Renegade Archery Company. The three principle owners to this day, these bow-hunting enthusiasts sought to create the finest quality hunting bows on the market and offer them at affordable prices. With a commitment to quality, dependability, customer satisfaction, and the future of archery, Renegade Archery Company has earned a reputation among hunters -- new and expert alike -- as producing superior products backed with exceptional warranties.

The company's original plant was located in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. Demand for bows rose steadily, so in August 2000, the plant was moved to a new, larger facility in Bloomer, Wisconsin. A 5700-square-foot addition was completed at the Bloomer site in March 2002.
