About Us

Renegade Archery Company, LLC was formed in the fall of 1998 by its three principal owners who are Bill Herrmann, Mike West, and Bill "Bearcrazy" Wiesner. The first Renegade bows were introduced at the National Archery Show in Indianapolis in January of 1999.

The company's original plant was located in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. In August of 2000, the plant was moved to a new, larger facility in Bloomer, Wisconsin. In March of 2002, a new 5700 square foot addition was completed at the Bloomer site.
